Create a new (hardcore) ironman character and either skip or complete Tutorial Island
This guide assumes you are a member from the beginning.
Set your Combat XP to Strength / Ranged / Magic / Necromancy respectively
Enter Lumbridge Castle, go to the top floor via the northern staircase, go up the ladder just south, and raise the flag
Master of All I Survey - Climb to the highest point in Lumbridge.
Raise the Roof - Raise the flag on the roof of the Lumbridge bank.
Talk to Duke Horacio on the floor below
Hail to the Duke, Baby - Speak to Horacio, the Duke of Lumbridge.
Leave the Castle to the north, pick up the coins on the floor outside of the general store, then view the Lumbridge general store and buy a bucket
Window Shopping - Browse Lumbridge's general store.
Continue north-west, pick some wheat from the wheat field, take the pot inside the windmill, then mill and obtain some flour
Grinding My Gears - Grind some flour in Lumbridge's mill.
Kill 2 cow calves to the north using your bronze dagger, take the cowhides, and use one of them on Beefy Bill to get him to bank it
This guide won't tell you which drops to pick up unless required later. Manage your own drops, pick up what you think you will need. Keep everything you get as quest rewards unless advised otherwise.
Where's The Beef? - Get Beefy Bill to bank something for you.
Milk the dairy cow in the same field to get a bucket of milk
Go south to the sheep pen and shear 20 white sheep for 20 pieces of wool
Wait, That's Not a Sheep - Visit Fred the Farmer's chicken and sheep farm.
Take an egg from the nearby chicken pen
Deposit the wool in the bank and pickpocket men and women in the Lumbridge marketplace to the south until level 2 Thieving
Steal from the vegetable stalls to the north until level 5 Thieving
Be wary of the guards, do not try and fight back. Eat the vegetables to heal yourself and leave the area until the guards lose focus.
Talk to the Doomsayer north of the Lumbridge lodestone (go through all chat)
Doom! - Speak with the Doomsayer about the Warning System.
Talk to the Lumbridge Sage south-east
Sage Advice - Talk to the Lumbridge Sage.
Go to Lumbridge graveyard and COMPLETE The Blood Pact quest
In Lumbridge Swamp, kill a giant rat, chop down a swamp tree (until it disappears, not just until you get logs), light a fire, and cook the rat meat
You Doity Rat - Kill a giant rat in Lumbridge Swamp.
It Was Dead Already! - Cut down a tree in Lumbridge Swamp.
Camping Trip - Light a campfire using standard logs in Lumbridge Swamp.
Ratatouille - Cook some rat meat on a campfire in Lumbridge Swamp.
Net at the fishing spot to the south-east and catch TWO shrimp
Keep the shrimp for later.
Shrimpin' Ain't Easy - Catch some shrimp in the fishing spot to the east of Lumbridge Swamp.
Go to the nearby mining site and mine a piece of copper
Take Your Pick - Mine some copper in the mining spot to the south-east of Lumbridge Swamp.
Enter the shed to the north-west (green fence posts)
Nowt Tool Look At - Search the shed in Lumbridge Swamp.
Run east over the docks into Al Kharid and activate the lodestone
Docking Out - Enter Al Kharid via its west gate.
Lodestone back to Lumbridge and COMPLETE the Cook's Assistant quest
Cook's Delights - Claim the cook's extra rewards after 'Cook's Assistant'.
Cook ONE of your shrimp on the Lumbridge Castle range, keeping one raw shrimp for later
Life Feeds On Life - Cook shrimp on a range in Lumbridge.
Go to the top floor, withdraw all your wool from the bank and keep the raw shrimp, and spin 20 balls of wool on the spinning wheel on the floor below
Talk to the Herald of Lumbridge outside the fishing shop north of the castle and accept the cape
You can destroy it afterwards.
Herald the Dawn - Claim a herald cape from the herald of Lumbridge.
In the fishing shop sell your raw shrimps
The Fruit of the Sea - Sell a raw shrimp to Lumbridge's fishing shop.
